Terms of Service

Last updated: April 29, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Atrest iOS application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Use of the app

Atrest is a personal fasting tracker. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or redistribute any part of the app.

Not medical advice

Atrest is a personal productivity and tracking tool, not a medical application. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Fasting may not be appropriate for everyone. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any fasting regimen, particularly if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication.

In-app purchases

The app offers two premium options:

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple's refund policies. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds independently. Family Sharing is enabled for both products where supported.

Your data

All fasting and health-related data you enter is stored locally on your device. You can export or delete your data at any time from within the app. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from loss of data. Your use of the app is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any health outcomes resulting from fasting practices.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the developer is located. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
